Security Checks & Payment Procedures

When selling your diamond to Diamond Trader there are a number of conditions that have been put in place to protect you the seller and us the buyer.

Proof of Ownership

We reserve the right to request written proof of ownership on any item presented to us for sale.  We may also require customers to sign a declaration that they are the legal owner of the goods offered and have the authority to sell the item(s).

Photographic Identification

We reserve the right to request, and retain, a copy of the sellers identification and or proof of address.

Payment Method

We reserve the right to use payments instruments (Cheque, Bank Draft, Electronic Funds Transfer) which are made out in the name of the seller.  These payments instruments will be designed to then pass through the sellers bank account.  Only in special circumstances will cash be made available to the seller.
